Moving Right Along

The Facini household had an amazing weekend, that started a day early. Friends came over and we hung out on the deck with the brewskis. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times, there is no better place to be in the summer, especially summer nights, than St. Mary's. 

Friday, the husband and I went on date night and left the Peanut with our high school sitter-- it's so weird to me that we have a sitter in high school. I feel like it wasn't that long ago that I was in her shoes. As my good friend likes to remind me, I'm getting old. On the way to date night, the husband and I stopped at our lot. Well, if I'm being honest, we stop by our lot...A LOT...buuuut, this time...

Saturday we celebrated my soon-to-be sister-in-law with a Bridal Shower, which was awesome! She got so many awesome gifts ( a couple I might steal for future uses, I might add) and the food was delicious, especially the chocolate fountain

Toward the end my nap-less Peanut had all the fun she could take--meltdown mode commenced about 20 minutes later

Saturday evening, we celebrated my Mom's birthday with a bushel or more of steamed crabs. Crabs and beer. That's what Maryland does. 

We wrapped up Sunday with a quiet day at home, catching up on laundry and spending some time with the fam. Although, I'm still not caught up on laundry... ahhh, that's the way it goes I suppose. Halfway through this week and ready for the weekend! Happy Hump Day!
